Bac Ha is one of the best-known markets of Vietnam's northern highlands. On market day, people from the surrounding hill villages come down to trade, and the Flower H'mong arrive in their brightly embroidered clothes.

It is a working market, not a show: produce, fabrics, household goods and livestock change hands, and the noise and colour are the real thing.

    Meet your group in Sapa and spend the day at Bac Ha market, where people from the hill villages around come to buy and sell, many of them Flower H'mong in their brightly embroidered clothes. No. This is a land tour that starts in Sapa, so the trip Hanoi – Sapa – Hanoi is not included. We can book a round-trip bus ticket for you: sleeper bus from 280,000 VND, cabin bus from 490,000 VND and Limousine (Dcar) from 532,000 VND per person. For the train, ask us and we will check.

How much do children pay?

Children aged 1–4 go free when sharing transport and a bed with their parents (parents pay any extra costs). Children aged 5–8 pay 75% of the tour price, with their own meals and sharing a bed with their parents. From 9 years old the adult price applies. Bus tickets are charged at the adult price for every age.
