Not a morning person? This afternoon version from Da Nang reaches My Son Sanctuary in the softer light of the afternoon. An electric shuttle takes you part of the way in, then a walk through the green valley leads to the Champa temples, where you have about two hours with a local English-speaking guide and a traditional Apsara dance performance.
On the way back you stop at a village house to try your hand at making rice paper, then sit down to a traditional Vietnamese dinner at another local home.
